Eastbourne
A very attractive Victorian resort with many shops restaurants etc. a pier and a long shingle/sand beach. Major events include ‘Airbourne’ the largest free Airshow in the UK which takes place in August attracting hundreds of thousands to the town.

Littlehampton
European Blue Flag winning beach, harbour and a stunning riverside development make Littlehampton a seaside town with space, style and lots of sunshine. Littlehampton is lucky to have two contrasting beaches to offer visitors. The East Beach is traditional sand and shingle and perfect for families. The West Beach is backed by dunes and extends to Climping. This is the closest sandy beach to Sumners Ponds.

Chichester Harbour
Chichester Harbour lies west of Chichester, with an entrance from the English Channel between Selsey and Hayling Island. West Wittering

Together with its immediate neighbour Hove, forms the city of Brighton and Hove. Brighton is one of the largest and most famous seaside resorts retaining much of its Victorian splendour.

Seaford
Seaford is a coastal town in the county of East Sussex, England, on the south coast, east ofNewhaven, Brighton and west of Eastbourne. It has a population of about 22,000. In the Middle Ages, Seaford was one of the main ports serving Southern England. But the town's fortunes declined due to coastal sedimentation silting up its harbour and persistent raids by French pirates. Between 1350 and 1550, the French burned down the town several times. In the 1500s the people of Seaford were known as the 'cormorants' or 'shags' because of their enthusiasm for looting ships wrecked in the bay. They were also believed to help ships run aground by placing fake harbour lights on the cliffs. However, Seaford's fortunes revived in the nineteenth century with the arrival of the railway It became and remains a small seaside resort town

Bexhill on Sea
Nestling between the bustling resorts of Eastbourne and Hastings, Bexhill-on-Sea is set in magnificent countryside. There are a wealth of castles, historic attractions and places of interest in and around Bexhill-on-Sea, 1066 Country and East Sussex, for young and old alike.

Hastings
This cosmpolitan coastal town lies between the mgged beauty of the East Hill (leading to a 660 acre country park) and the tourism-tailored charms of the West Hill with the Smugglers Adventure and Hastings Castle. Home to Europe’s largest beach-launched fishing fleet, Hastings has recently been at the heart of the smash hit ITV wartime drama series 'Foyle's War' which is both set and shot in the town.
