Camping and Caravanning
at Sumners Ponds
There are two camping areas, a main site
and a lakeside with a total of 61 pitches, all with electric
hook-up. 34 are hard standing pitches, 18 are grass and
9 are premium angling pitches, each of which has it’s
own dedicated swim area, suitable for 2 anglers. In peak
times it is often possible to accommodate tents in our
overflow camping field, but this area does not have any
electrical hook-ups.
The main
site has a young children’s play area and
particularly suitable for families as it is adjacent to the
woodland walk and cycle paths.
The Lakeside camping area with its premium pitches is more
suited to those wishing to fish.
Well behaved dogs are welcome
onto both the camping areas and there is no extra charge. Dogs
should remain on a lead at all times in the camping and fishing
areas. Your
day visitors are also welcome at no extra charge. Visitors'
cars should be left in the car park by the entrance. |
