at Sumners Ponds
There are three camping areas, ‘Bluebell Park’,’ Ribbon Park’ and ‘Sumners Park’, which is a lakeside camping area. There are a total of a total of 91 pitches, 88 with electric hook-up. 53 are hard standing pitches, 38 are grass and 11 are premium angling pitches, each of which has it’s own dedicated swim area, suitable for 2 anglers. In peak times it is often possible to accommodate tents in our overflow camping field, but this area does not have any electrical hook-ups.
The Bluebell Park has a young children’s play area and particularly suitable for families as it is adjacent to the woodland walk and cycle paths.
Ribbon Park, the new addition to Sumners Ponds is situated in between Farm Pond and Ribbon Lake, is ideal for Angler and Camper of all ages with the added benefit of running water available at each pitch. Ribbon Park is also well positioned for access to the woodland walks and cycle routes around the farm.
The Lakeside camping area (Sumners Park) with its premium pitches is more suited to those wishing to fish.
Well behaved dogs are welcome onto both the camping areas. Dogs should remain on a lead at all times in the camping and fishing areas. Your day visitors are also welcome at no extra charge. Visitors' cars should be left in the car park by the entrance.
note: Before booking please read our terms and conditions.
*Please note that we now have a groups policy of a maximum of three to a group. We will not take more than three tents or caravans (or a combination of) staying together in the same field. Any parties in addition to the maximum of three are still permitted but must be booked into another field. A permitted example would be: three camping in Bluebell Park, 2 camping in Ribbon Park. This is in response to complaints about noise and the lateness of gatherings around one area and also the potential intimidation of other campers due to large group sizes camping around them. We do not permit groups of this kind. Those causing a disturbance or seen to be breaking our groups policy may be asked to leave without a refund. Please see the back page of our up-to-date brochure for our general campsite rules that run throughout the year. All of our rules are in place to ensure that everyone’s stay with us is as enjoyable as possible.
